DURHAM, N.C. -
On Thursday evening, the Durham Public Schools school board honored DPS students whose work was selected to be a part of Duke Children's Card program.
According to DPS, two of four students whose work was selected were from Holt Elementary school. Damon Mealey Bass, who is now a sixth grader at Carrington and Anh Duong, a Holt 5th grader will have their work featured on cards, which will raise money for children at Duke.
The students were lead by teacher Sara Corriher.
