A Durham man has been arrested and charged with the July 25 attempted armed robbery of the Pizza Hut on N.C. 55.
Antonio Andrew Holman, 19, of Dunn Avenue was charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping and assault by pointing a gun. The warrants were served on him in the Orange County Jail, where he has been incarcerated since he was arrested Saturday night and charged with the armed robbery of a Domino's Pizza in Hillsborough.
An employee of the Pizza Hut on N.C. 55 told officers he went outside the business shortly before midnight on July 25 and was approached by a man armed with a gun. The man forced the employee back into the business at gunpoint and attempted to get money from the safe and a register, but was unable to do so.
Bond for Holman was set at $250,000 on the Hillsborough charges and $50,000 on the Durham charges.
